History:
Aero Hardware & Parts Company, Inc. was founded in 1963 by Al Maiolo. Our company began with five employees and one facility in New Rochelle, New York. Today, we are one of the leading distributors in the world of spare parts, AN, MS, NAS and Boeing hardware, as well as Chemicals (sealants, coatings, paints, hazardous and non-hazardous) and specialty products.
Quality:
As a worldwide supplier of hardware and chemicals for commercial and military aircraft, Aero Hardware recognizes the need to be extremely quality conscious in every aspect of our operation. For many years we maintained an excellent quality and delivery record under MIL-I-45208. In 1996 we embarked on an effort to become certified to the ISO 9002 quality standard. We were ISO certified in February of 1997 and since then we have passed each biannual audit by SGS International Certification Services, Inc. (a leading independent registrar). In March of 2003, in order to ensure that our quality practices conformed to recognized industry standards, we successfully completed a lengthy process to become certified to the new ISO 9001:2000 standard. Over the last 5 years we have also been audited to, and found compliant with, the quality requirements of AS 9100:2001 and FAA Advisory Circular AC-00-56, ASA-100 as well. Hardware:
We keep more than 100,000 line items in stock. Our website will soon offer users the option of searching our inventory for their specific needs. In the meantime, please feel free to contact our Sales staff with your requirements. We are specialists in the area of aerospace fasteners. We have several top-shelf distributorships, such as for Shur-Lok (manufacturers of complex engineered fasteners for aviation applications), Panduit, Nuco, and Honeywell. We subject every order of ours before a rigorous Quality Control check and we stake our reputation on the quality of our products and the timeliness of our deliveries.
Chemicals: We enjoy a formal distributor relationship with many of the giants of the Aviation chemical industry. 3M, Dow Corning, PPG (formerly PRC DeSoto, and before that Courtaulds Aerospace) among many others. Our status as a discounted distributor often allows us to sell these products at prices and quantities well below the usual factory minimum. We also have extensive research capabilities and numerous industry contacts for the hard-to-find chemical. We have substantial experience and expertise in the packaging and shipment of hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals; you can rely on us to ship your chemicals to you safely and on time.
